Second strand (here the first) of our review particular Motor Show Festival. For those who already know it, the Autodrome’s how you know the track where racing exhibits and perform during the Motor Show Festival Zaragoza. The previous occasion when I was at Zaragoza was in 2008, and this time the track was covered. In the past two years, this track has gone abroad. More space but more especially cold. January, in a clearing and in Zaragoza … resulting in a freezing cold.

During the day Saturday, which is where I was, I had the chance to enjoy two events. The first was the Race of Champions, the second exhibition of drifting. I always left wondering: Is it a race car drifting as such? Or is it just entertainment?. As I still have my doubts, we will concentrate on the Champions Race.

In the main event of the weekend devoted some drivers were cited, although they were most promising youngsters. On the side of the first, names like Antonio Albacete and Luis Carlos Maurel. Among young people … many, I hope that I can not forget any. Marta Suria, Roberto Merhi, Daniel Campos-Hull, Felix Porteiro, Santiago Porteiro, Gonzalo Andres Martin, Albert Costa, Marcos Martinez, Javier Villa, Borja Alvarez … (except the last, all names have been written by heart and really were present, not some list out there that have posted to copy and paste the press release and puts a few more drivers)

After submission of the names, the best we can say the event is Felix Porteiro who won in an exciting final. It beat beat his brother James and then put through land. WTCC driver won quite solvency. Behind the Canary pilot Borja Santiago Alvarez broke Porteiro to be in the second position. A nice event marred by the fragility of some rental karts. People like Merhi, Costa and Villa have to give a good material, but what happens happens. Of 10 who began the final, finished only 4. That’s not counting the many problems encountered by the pilots during the qualifying rounds.
